Rice Kheer
Ingredients
Milk 4 cups
Rice 6 tbsp
Sugar ½ cup
Green cardamoms 2 crushed
Almonds 8 blanched and sliced
Method
- Put rice in cooker. Add a little water and milk.
- Close cooker. Bring to full pressure on medium heat.
- Reduce heat and cook for 5 min.
- Remove cooker from heat. Allow to cool and then open it.
- Place cooker on medium heat and add sugar, and green cardamoms.
- Cook until a creamy consistency is obtained, stirring constantly.
- Place kheer in serving dish. Garnish with almonds.
- Serve hot or cold.
