Chandigarh Blogger's Meet Review

Hi Guys!

So here I am with a quick review of the blogger’s meet for all those who couldn’t make it for the event. It was a very nice and learning experience to meet all those 11 people who are so passionate about their own fields and of course blogging. It really showed the interest youth is having in blogosphere. Here we discussed how each one of us started blogging and what all difficulties we have faced.

The initiator of this event, Mr. Gaurav, is the owner of http://gaufire.blogspot.com/. Firstly, I congratulate him for taking this step and bringing together, although in small number, but all of us, the bloggers. And now as we all came to know each other, we will definitely take these kinds of meetings ahead and will help in bringing more of the bloggers.

In future we will be organizing meetings on a large scale and will get it sponsored by Microsoft. Some of the top bloggers from India may be our guests so that they can share their experiences with us and prove to be a helping hand for the new bloggers. We are also planning to emphasize some of the current issues of society and for that we can have some shows or workshops for spreading awareness about blogging. So in the place as Chandigarh, which is going to be the technology center in coming years, the bloggers meet will be an added advantage for the people who want to know anything about blogging.

Mr. Shanker Bakshi who owns the blog http://www.shankerbakshi.com, is again a very multi dimensional guy with lots of experience. He knows every aspect of promoting a blog and making money through it. So, anyone who wants to learn how to make money from blog should visit his blog.

Mr. Rakesh who although is very new to this field had a great contribution. He came up with the Id-cards for all of us and helped in organizing the event.

Mr. Abhinav, a great guy with lots of energy and an inspiration for all. He was in his full spirits with his blog http://www.inspiritblog.com. He is really a very talented person.

Mr. Jasdeep has a blog on poetry where he publishes the punjabi poems of his friends. This guy had struggled a lot in his life but is very passionate about anything he does. I really liked your enthusiasm. Keep it up!

If you have any kind of issues regarding software, hardware, programming, designing, anything, Mr.Mohit Aneja can help you out. His blog http://www.mohitaneja.com gives solutions to your many problems. He had been the best solution provider on yahoo questions and answers. This guy is really fabulous and a true lover of Google :P and one most important topic which lasted for around an hour was…in contrast to Shanker, who believes in making money from blogging, Mohit do not believe in making money from blogs, especially from google adsense. He came up with his wife, Mrs. Reet Aneja, who too is really interested in blogging and helps Mohit in all aspects.

Mr. Sameer through his blog http://threecheersindia.com/blog/ wants to showcase the developments and problems faced by India since Independence. He, in Stepping Stones School (Chandigarh), had organized a workshop to teach students about blogging and the advantages one can gain from it.

Mr. Abhishek who is into corporate blogging alongwith Sameer had started their own company. I wish them All the Best for it.

Mr. Saurabh, who is a PHP developer owns the blog http://teenmoolah.blogspot.com/.

Miss. Sukhbir Kaur, shared her experiences about blogging and had a good learning experience.

And lastly myself, Preeti, owner of blog http://entertainment-n-humour.blogspot.com/ had learnt a lot from this meeting. I am thankful to all of you with whom I got in contact with and will remain in contact in future too.

So, all those who had not attended Bloggers Meet this time, do get in touch with me anytime to know about our future events. In a month or 2 we will be having our next meet. We will soon launch a website for Chandigarh bloggers where you can get to know about the upcoming events and reviews of meetings.

We had got our media coverage from Hindustan (the hindi newspaper by Hindustan times), you can read an article in it within a day or 2.

Will post some snaps too as soon as I will get them.

Thanks to all of you and all the best for your future. See you all in the next meet.

Keep in touch.

Chao!

PS: If I had written anything wrong or had forgotten to mention, please forgive me and do write a comment.
